Event Description

Heike—known as Yoga with Oma—is a 500 hour trained Yoga Teacher living in the West Valley. Her true passion is sharing the benefits of yoga with her community, teaching everyone from children to the young at heart with practices on the mat, in the chair, and everywhere in between. Her approach is inclusive, accessible, and rooted in the belief that yoga is for every body. Chair Yoga, one of her specialties, is a gentle and accessible practice that allows adults—especially those 55+—to stretch, strengthen, and breathe with ease while seated for support. It improves balance, flexibility, circulation, and joint health while reducing stress, offering a safe and confidence building way to stay active and mobile without getting up and down from the floor.
