Event Description
In this workshop parents of young children will learn how everyday habits and conversations shape a child's future. Led by an experienced educator and parent coach, the session turns brain science into practical ideas and strategies that families can use at home to naturally expose children to more words. By focusing on simple and fun ways to read and play with your child, parents will learn how these positive interactions early on in a child’s life build a critical foundation for school success. Because parenting a young child can feel overwhelming, the session also covers how to handle common behavioral challenges that disrupt learning, offering tools to create a peaceful home environment where bonds between parents and children are strengthened and young minds can truly thrive.
Registration required. This program can accommodate 20 adults (table and chair seating).
