Event Description
The Aguila Youth Council is building a community archive from the many places that have made Aguila what it is: the school, the farms, the airpark, families, businesses, neighborhoods, and the lives lived between them. Through stories, photographs, objects, and memories, the project invites Aguila to tell its own history, not as one story, but as all the pieces that have learned to belong to the same place.
El Consejo Juvenil de Aguila está creando un archivo comunitario a partir de los muchos lugares que han hecho de Aguila lo que es: la escuela, los campos agrícolas, el aeródromo, las familias, los negocios, los vecindarios y las vidas que transcurren entre todos ellos. A través de historias, fotografías, objetos y recuerdos, el proyecto invita a Aguila a contar su propia historia, no como una sola historia, sino como todas las piezas que han aprendido a pertenecer al mismo lugar.
