Event Description

It’s never too early to start learning about mosquitoes! Join Maricopa County Environmental Services Vector Control to learn about the mosquito life cycle and discover how you can help protect your home and community. Participants will see mosquito eggs, larvae, and adults up close under a microscope, then learn how simple actions like tipping and tossing standing water can help remove mosquitoes.

Through the story Ten Tiny Mosquitoes, follow Emily, Livi, and Nathaniel as they work together to protect their home. Learn the different ways they solve their mosquito problems. Participants can practice their counting as the mosquito numbers decrease throughout the story.

Come learn how you can help Fight the Bite!

Recommended for PreK–1st grade.
