Event Description

We’re glad to welcome back Lutheran Social Services’ Free Caregiver Institute to the Aguila Library. Caring for a young child is important and rewarding work, though it can also be demanding in ways that are not always easy to name. This program offers practical support, guidance, and a place to be among others who understand what it means to care for children ages 0 to 5, whether you are a parent, a family member, a friend, or a neighbor.

There will be First Aid training, skills training, practical advice, and professional caregiving for your children while you attend class right here at the library. There will also be fun and games for children ages 0 to 5, so that while you are learning, they are cared for too.

We’re grateful to partner in bringing these resources to the Aguila Library and to help make space for something truly needed: learning, connection, and support.
